“The article claims that ‘India is not a foreign power.

We are not a military power.

There is no foreign power that can influence the government and make decisions for us. 

‘It has been decided to investigate the article and take action against the author, the paper said in a statement.”

The article, titled ‘A State-Sponsored Propaganda Piece’ was first published on the ‘India Today’ website.

“The Government has decided to take action and take the action necessary to ensure that no person is misusing his power to influence the Government and the public, the Indian Express reported. 

According to the Indian Government’s ‘Sections of Action Report’, which is a report on its investigations, the article was written in 2015 by Ankit Bose, who had served as the Minister of State for Home Affairs for the previous UPA regime.

“‘We will take action to ensure no person misuses his power,” he said in response to a question from reporters, the Hindustan Times reported.”
