The World Health Organization says the world is in a similar situation to the one it faced in 1918 when it first detected the disease.
The latest figures released by the organization show that the number of coronaval-cohort cases in the United States has more than doubled since the pandemic started last year.
The United Kingdom has recorded its first recorded case, and Canada has also reported one case.
All three countries are experiencing similar outbreaks, but the United Kingdom’s are much more severe, while Canada’s are more manageable.
The outbreak of COVID-19 began in the fall of 2015, and since then, the number and severity of cases has steadily risen.
Health officials have said the number is probably much higher than originally thought because of the increased use of personal protective equipment such as masks and breathing masks.
The WHO says the first outbreak was reported in the U.S. in October, and the second in Britain in December.
But the number was initially reported as fewer than 50 cases.
The organization said it will continue to work to gather more data, including in countries where cases have risen rapidly.
