Posted February 19, 2019 12:24:00With the release of “Boys Do Cry” in theaters, it’s time to take a closer look at the movie that has been so controversial.
We caught up with director Scott Frank, who recently returned to the film after starring in the new Disney movie “The BFG.”
Frank talks about the making of the film, the reactions to the movie, and his favorite scenes from the film.
“Boys don’t cry,” Frank told us.
“You know what that means?
There’s no crying.””
Bodies are a lot more expressive,” he added.
“They’re more alive.
There’s a lot of emotion.””
I think it’s the best film in years,” said Frank.
“It’s like, I don’t know if you guys understand it yet, but it’s very, very special.”
“It’s a beautiful film,” he said.
“I love the movie.
I love the cast.
I think it would be really cool to see it on a bigger screen.
But it’s a wonderful movie.”
The cast includes Michael Shannon, Michael Douglas, Jason Bateman, and Michael Cera.
“Birds of a Feather” was directed by Michael Mann, and stars Bradley Cooper, Emily Blunt, and Oscar Isaac.
